I don't know about this. How is She Whose Name Cannot Be Spoken going to feel about copyright?
Gosh, that's a good question. I think because she doesn't sell them, but merely sells instructions for making your own, she's in the clear.
And only A Real Meanie would get in the way of a fan project. That, and copyright lawyers (usually the same thing).
