Free Comic Book Day is back!Free Comic Book Day is a single day when participating comic book specialty shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops. All those great little independent shops, stuffed with books and plastic-covered copies of X-men are grateful for their readers, and the people whose enthusiasm keeps them going strong. It's a fun day to get into comic books, if you're not a fan yet, and a good excuse to pick up a few things while you're in there getting your freebie.

I have to work tomorrow, so I'm MISSING Free Comic Book Day this year. Boo.
There are TWO stores here in town participating in Free Comic Book Day! And I have some friends who I KNOW are going to take advantage of it. Me, I'm a little scared of the hordes, but you know me and shopping, anyway.
